R7731是高性能、低成本、低啟動電流、電流模式脈寬調製控制器，具有突發三重模式，以便支援綠色節能操作模式。R7731集軟啟動、欠壓鎖定（UVLO）、內部前緣遮蔽 （LEB）、過溫保護（OTP）以及內部斜率補償功能於一體,為用戶提供高效、低外部元件數量和低成本的AC/DC電源應用解決方案。為保護外部功率MOSFET不因電源過電壓而受到損壞，R7731輸出驅動器的電壓被限定在12V。R7731的另一個特點是具備多項保護功能，如超載保護（OLP）和過壓保護（OVP），省略了外部保護電路，確保穩定、可靠地運行。R7731可提供SOT-23-6和DIP-8封裝形式。
